Last weekend was a wonderful showcase of major events that took place on the Capricorn Coast and in Rockhampton – the JRT TAG Southern Great Barrier Reef Golf Classic, Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Tropical Yacht Race, the inaugural Yeppoon Triathlon Festival, Rocky Swap, Obstacles Gone Mad, Keppel Sea Kayak Symposium just a taste of the sheer number of options locals and visitors had to choose from!
However, it’s weekends like this that are a conspicuous reminder of why, if you’re planning to hold an event in or around the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton, Capricorn Enterprise should be your first stop in your forward planning!
It is also important to note that major sporting events like the Brisbane to Keppel Yacht Race and the Golf Pro Am are part of a much larger Queensland program, the Queensland yacht race calendar and the Queensland Sunshine PGA tours, so those dates are determined by those tours.
2016 marks the tenth Anniversary of the Club Marine Brisbane to Keppel Yacht Race which will be held from the 5th to 7th August 2016.
