nbn Announces 3 Year Construction Plan

Late last week the nbn™ released its three-year construction plan, outlining all the areas in Queensland that are set to be in construction by September 2018.

This is huge news for business in our region, with over 1.5 million additional premises in Queensland soon be able to access fast broadband and phone services through the nbn™.

Every form of online service used by local business is set to improve under the nbn™ – be it e-commerce, sending and receiving files, accessing online services, internet and data security, cloud based sharing or communicating with staff and customers.

Businesses particularly in rural or remote regions will see huge benefits from the nbn that will in turn flow on into the local community.  And unlike the current system, nbn customers outside the major metropolitan areas will finally not be charged significantly more for internet access, leveling the playing field.
