Region Receives Mass TV Coverage

Our destination will be beamed around Queensland and Australia in a number of television shows airing over the next few weeks:
- Farmer Wants a Wife – 24 hour ‘date’ with potential wife – Great Keppel Island Hideaway – airing next Monday 7th March 2016 (Channel 9/WIN)
- Our Town half hour show – Saturday 12th March – 1pm from the Southern Great Barrier Reef to the Sapphire Gemfields (Channel 9/WIN)
- Queensland Weekender – Sunday 27th March (8-9pm), One hour special on the Great Barrier Reef, so previous footage of GKI and the Capricorn Coast will be included in that too! (Channel 7)
- Queensland Weekender – Saturday 9th April, Queensland Weekender will be airing a story featuring Australian Nature Guides at Carnarvon Gorge
And in March also, a Drive Queensland Special (date yet to be confirmed) will be airing which will also be including previously filmed footage from our destination (Channel 7)
This follows recent shows including:
Escape with ET – fishing around Keppel Bay which aired on Saturday 30th January
These add to a long list of TV shows and live crosses over the past couple of years including Better Homes and Gardens, Today Show, Sunrise, Creek to Coast, Queensland Weekender (a number of times).
