Economic Gardening – “High Growth Business Program”

The first local delivery of the Economic Gardening “High Growth Business Program” [EGP] is approaching its final Stages with only two Program Workshops remaining.

Twenty eight local businesses, with in excess of half being based in Rockhampton,  are currently engaged in the inaugural EGP delivery with response to-date indicating above average satisfaction with the Program (as detailed below).  All participants firmly recommend that other businesses take advantage of future programs.pie chart

Economic Gardening is a high growth business program based on a highly successful American model. The program aims to identify local emerging entrepreneurs in small and medium sized enterprises and provide them with a package of professional business assistance designed to help them fast-track the sustainable expansion of their businesses and by so doing, create employment and a positive economic impact on the region.

Business participants are guided through an objective diagnostic of their own business, followed by a number of workshops on Strategy Formulation, Customer Relations Management, Financial Management, Digital Strategy and Social Media and Advanced Marketing and Innovation.

The Program is aimed at formulating a strategy for your business that identifies the fundamental nature of your product/service and for whom it is of value; how to identify target market segments; and how to identify and articulate your competitive advantage.  As an essential part of this strategy formulation, we will also examine how to conduct market research effectively and useful data sources.

Capricorn Enterprise in association with Livingstone Shire Council and Industry Skills Fund have supported the inaugural Program – and we look forward to Rockhampton Regional Council  supporting the continuation of the EGP in 2016 and beyond.

Registrations of Interest 2016 Economic Gardening Program for the first 2016 Program delivery will be invited in the coming days.
