TEQ Transformational Experiences Mentoring Program 2.0

Phase 2 of the TEQ Transformational Experiences Mentoring Program kicked off in May with a launch workshop at Salt Yeppoon and site inspections, eight (8) of our Capricorn operators attended the launch either in person or virtually. The TEMP 2.0 program involves up to 14 hours of Tourism Mentoring over a ten week period and approx. 14 hours additional commitment by operators to complete the program. The Mentor for this fantastic program is tourism marketing expert Amanda Kruse from Success Matrix who has already worked closely with many of our Capricorn operators and she knows our region well. This is no cost to participate in the program but is valued at $2,100 per operator.

Participants in the TEMP 2.0 program include:

  • Shiralee Clydesdales & Farm Stay
  • CQ River Cruises
  • Cooberrie Park/Mini Golf/Dinosaur Walk
  • Koorana Crocodile Farm
  • Castle Rock Farm
  • St Aubins Village
  • Breeze Holiday Parks Carnarvon Gorge
  • Ferns Hideaway Resort

Eleven of our region’s operators participated in TEQ’s Experience Design Pilot Program in 2021. TEQ have developed The Ultimate Transformational Experience Guide which focuses on 7 steps to creating better value for guests and businesses. The aim is to help put operators at the forefront of a global travel movement and increase bookings and revenue.

In this new era of travel, people are actively seeking experiences that enrich, awaken and transform them. They want to ignite something new within themselves by consciously connecting with and appreciating our extraordinary planet, its people and cultures. The guide will enable operators to transform their experience offering and business to meet and exceed the needs of the travellers of today and tomorrow.
