Producers and speakers from local organisations will join ABARES economists at sessions on Investing in rural industries, Innovation in broadacre cropping and beef production, and Intensive and irrigated farming in the Riverina. This conference is an essential information and networking opportunity for those active in the agriculture sector.
Delegates can access up to date agricultural and regional data and discuss key local issues at this one day ABARES conference. The program is focused on the national and international economic issues affecting the state, agriculture and free trade agreements, weather forecasting, forecasts for regionally significant commodities, innovation in the grain supply chain, speciality produce marketing, inland aquaculture, certified organic vegetable production and the regulatory framework for the winegrape industry.
