With a lot of uncertainty in the community regarding deamalgamation, Rockhampton Region Mayor Margaret Strelow is giving residents a chance to have their questions answered.
Residents will be given the opportunity to “Ask Margaret” any questions they have about deamalgamation at three in-person sessions.
The sessions are open to the public and will be held at the Yeppoon Town Hall in Normanby Street from 7pm to 9pm on 11 and 12 February 2013 and at the Emu Park Cultural Centre on 18 February 2013. No registrations are required.
If more sessions are required they will be scheduled where possible and Council is currently making arrangements for a session at the Caves.
