Maximising opportunities for the construction industry
Across March 2018, Defence is hosting briefings for local businesses and industry representatives in Mackay, Townsville and Rockhampton.
The briefings are tailored for the construction industry. They will provide an update on the Australian-Singapore Military Training Initiative and other Defence projects, and inform local industry about future tender opportunities.
About the Initiative
The delivery of enhanced training areas in Central and North Queensland will benefit the Australian Defence Force’s training, as well as Australia’s bilateral defence relationship with Singapore.
The Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative is part of the Australian Government’s commitment to creating strong and enduring economic opportunities for local communities and businesses.
