Buzzz… is a new event for Rockhampton. It involves people who are part of our community doing short, punchy presentations on a theme. At the inaugural Buzzz… event, the theme is ‘Inspiration (who or what inspires me?)’.
The speakers are:
- Suzie Christensen (Fitzroy Basin Association)
- Helen Newell (Australian Institute for Commercialisation)
- Dr Susan Kinnear (CQUniversity Australia)
- Margaret Hornagold (Darumbal Community Youth Service)
- Mick Cranny (Tropical Pines)
- Kate Venables (Centacare)
- Dr Peter Reaburn (CQUniversity Australia)
- Stephen Power (comedian)
The speakers choose 5 to 15 images/slides which automatically advance using a timer. They will speak for 5 minutes. Then there will be time for comments and questions.
This is a child-friendly event. Everyone is welcome.

$10 or $5 concession
