Endorsements – 2018 Major Projects Forum

Last year’s event had in excess of 200 business and industry representatives in attendance who found the event to be extremely worthwhile, informative and insightful.

“I just wanted to pass on my big congratulations on yesterday’s Major Project Forum – WOW!

After being away and living in Gladstone for 10 years (albeit still keeping a close eye on Rocky), what an exciting time we have ahead of us. I’ve been involved in a few of these types events in a previous life, but can I congratulate you on the depth and diversity of speakers – the segmenting of sessions into like topics was also very well done.

Each presentation hit the mark with content very relevant, but also gave the audience a great (and transparent) insight into each of the projects on our doorstep. I also really enjoyed hearing Mary’s update on the progress Capricorn Enterprise has made in achieving the region’s Priority Initiatives – as we all know, success in achieving these initiatives is a long process, and I totally agree with comment on the day re patience!

The region has much prosperity on the horizon (in fact it’s a lot closer than that), and reinforces my views and the Directors of Cooper McKenzie Marketing, to establish a full time presence in Rockhampton – a place I’m still proud to call home.

Again, a huge congratulations to you, Mary and the entire team, and my sincere apologies for having to exit quickly after the close – unfortunately work was calling!”

Carl Carter | Cooper McKenzie Marketing – November 2018

“The quality of presenters and industry news (at the Major Projects Forum) was superb and certainly offered all of us in attendance clarity, insight and confidence in the amount and size of the projects secured for our region in the very new future.

Central Queensland and the businesses within are in a great place at the moment and the next number of years the future is bright and exciting.

Once again Neil, thank you for yesterday and keep up the great work that yourself and the Capricorn Enterprise team are doing, your efforts certainly do not go unnoticed.”

Graham Sheppard | Development Manager JRT Group of Companies – November 2018

“QRC is proud to have Capricorn Enterprise as our regional partner. We see firsthand the great work that the organisation does in ensuring that the region is always well represented in Brisbane, especially in 1 William Street. For a small regional team, Capricorn Enterprise punch well above their weight. We really value their ongoing contribution to the Queensland Local Content Leaders’ Network.

We’d urge every business in the region to get involved in Capricorn Enterprise. Support the organisation that promotes your region and join Capricorn Enterprise.”

Ian Macfarlane | Chief Executive Queensland Resources Council – November 2018
