Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative

Civmec-Sembcorp JV, having been confirmed as one of five Defence Primes/Tier 1 Companies Tendering for the Australia-Singapore Military Training Initiative (ASMTI), a $800M> investment in Shoalwater Bay Military Training Area (SWBMTA), are conducting an Industry Briefing this Friday morning to connect with and inform regional industry of their local industry participation strategy.

Details on Friday mornings Industry Briefing including registration are detailed below – noting that registrations will be accepted up to Thursday May 17th at 12noon:

Despite the relatively “short-notice”, regional industry representatives are urged to register for the Industry Briefing to ensure that our regional industry capability is captured.

Capricorn Enterprise Economic Development Manager Neil Lethlean emphasises, “The ASMTI is scheduled to formally commence early 2019 – and being a four year infrastructure project attracting a local content/participation commitment of 65% – opportunities for regionally based industry will be immense. I encourage all interested businesses to register their capabilities.”
