The Fitzroy Basin Association Inc. (FBA) look forward to welcoming you to the FBA Muster 2012 which is being hosted by The Fitzroy Basin Association (FBA) on Wednesday and Thursday, 17 and 18 October 2012.
The FBA Muster 2012 will take place at the Leichhardt Hotel from 8.30am to 5pm both days and will kick off with a welcome barbeque and bull ride at the Great Western Hotel from 6.30pm on Tuesday, 16 October.
The program for day one will take you through cotton, grazing and grains best management practice (BMP); traditional and future land management; waterways and coastal land management; and will feature field trips to the Iwasaki Wetlands, a local fruit orchard and fishway; followed by the conference dinner.
Day two program will cover mining; innovations and planning for the future; carbon and reef issues; climate change; on-the-ground projects; and tours of FLOW, FBA’s interactive visitor centre; followed by a farewell barbeque dinner.
FBA Muster 2012 is an opportunity for you to hear from leading researchers and learn about land management from your peers and others. The program includes opportunities for interaction and lively discussion on the various topics.
