Moo Baa Munch Rockhampton
Date(s) - 28 Aug 2013 until 30 Aug 2013

Rockhampton State High School
Moo Baa Munch is a great opportunity for students to learn about plant, animal, agricultural or environmental sciences, animal and plant production, mechanics and rural industries.
Moo Baa Munch consists of primary and secondary school’s days with interactive, fun and educational industry demonstrations. The aim of the event is to increase primary school students’ awareness of the origin of their food & fibre, the chain of production and the importance of agriculture in their everyday lives.
For secondary school students the event provides an insight into the vast variety of possible careers relating to animals, plants and science. The activities introduce technology, natural resource management and industry best practices within agriculture, both on and off the farm.
The general public are invited to the Afternoon Meat and Greet down on the farm, showcasing produce from local suppliers, high schools with agriculture programs and industry speakers. Information will be available on career pathways through traineeships, university degrees and employment options.
