Queensland’s regional centres are key drivers of economic activity in the State and important hubs for innovation and forging new industries. In June, Australian Industry Group is partnering with Brisbane Airport Corporation (BAC) and the Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development and the Commonwealth Games for a special showcase to highlight regional opportunities.
The showcase will provide a snapshot of the state of the economy and industry in Rockhampton and Gladstone and the emerging opportunities for the area. Brisbane Airport Corporation will outline how Brisbane’s new runway (due for completion next year) will unlock a world of new potential and connection for regional Queensland and the Department of Innovation, Tourism Industry Development and the Commonwealth Games will present the emerging vision for regional tourism
The free forum will be a great opportunity to tap into information, network with other businesses and be part of a positive conversation about ensuring regional Queensland has a strong voice in the state and national conversation.
