You are invited to attend the Central QLD Skilling Queenslanders for Work Information Sessions

Skilling Queenslanders for Work aims to support Community Based Organisations and Local Councils fund and facilitate the delivery of tailored local Training and Skills Programs that support; young people, mature-age job seekers, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disability, women re-entering the workforce, people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and long-term unemployed Queenslanders on the path to work.

Applications are NOW OPEN for the next Skilling Queenslanders for Work funding round. The first round of funding for 2018-2019 and will close at 5pm (AEST) on Thursday 12 April 2018.​

The Department will be hosting an information session in Rockhampton and Mackay and encourages your attendance.

Presentations will include:

  • Program overview and objectives
  • Program guidelines and changes
  • Outcomes to date
  • Eligibility of participants and target groups
  • SQW budget tool facts and FAQ’s

Please register your attendance by Tuesday 20th February 2018.
