If you are interested in learning about a program to enhance your capabilities in the welding of specific grades of steel required for defence maritime and land applications, you may want to attend this workshop about the Welding Capability for Defence Platforms program which is part of the Defence Materials Technology Centre’s (DMTC) Industry Capability Development Program, a national initiative designed to create a network of ‘Defence-ready’ companies with benchmarked, globally competitive capabilities.
You will hear an overview of the Welding Capability for Defence Platforms Project and the benefits it could deliver to your business, along with information on DMTC’s current program which seeks to enhance industry capabilities in the welding of specific grades of steel required for defence maritime and land applications.
When: Tuesday 25 September 2018, 1.00pm to 4.00pm

Businesses registering for the workshop will be asked to complete a capability questionnaire which will assist DMTC to understand the types of skills and information that participants would most benefit from, so they can tailor delivery of the project in our local region.
The workshop will be presented by the DMTC in association with Defence Jobs Queensland and the Department of State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning (DSDMIP).
There is no cost or obligation from your attendance at this workshop but ongoing participation in the project will require a participation fee of $1,000 plus GST.
