Workshop: Global demand for perishable commodities of northern Australia – A case study of Central Queensland

Dr. Delwar Akbar from the Central Queensland University is undertaking research project to assess the demand for perishable agricultural commodities of northern Australia in global markets through a case study of central Queensland.

To inform this he is undertaking a workshop to gather information about the current and forecasted demand of perishable goods in the Asian markets, highlight the importance of the air-transport hub to facilitate perishable goods export and provide some recommendation on air-transport hub development. The feedback from the participants attending the workshop will be included in the project final report. An agenda for the workshop is attached and the project information sheet has more information about the workshop.

The workshop will be held on Thursday 26 October 2017 from 9am – 11.30am.
