The 8th March each year is designated to celebrate International Women’s Day.
In the true spirit of International Women’s Day, the Zonta Club of Rockhampton Inc. (a service club of professional and business women) will once again host their annual Breakfast, sponsored by Ergon Energy on International Women’s Day, Thursday 8th March, 2012.The breakfast will be held at The CQ Bid League’s Club 1 Lion Creek Road Wandal and commence at 7am. At this breakfast the Zonta Capricornia Living Treasure Award, sponsored by Telstra Country Wide will be presented. The primary purpose of this Award is to recognize and reward a woman from within our local community whose achievements continue to inspire or influence others. Enclosed with this letter is a brochure explaining the award and a nomination form for your use. We would be delighted if you or your organisation submitted one or more nominations for this worthy award.
