SALT Yeppoon Update

With the scaffold now coming down, the public response to Salt’s external design has been fantastic. A clear indication has been the recent sales results, with over $4M worth of apartments going to contract in the last six weeks. The work being undertaken on the beachfront water play area, and the announcement of a further $25M worth of funding to the Yeppoon foreshore, including a proposed wave pool on the old hospital site, has added to recent sales interest. With the water play area opening prior to the Christmas school holidays, and the opening of Salt, local tourism and economic development groups are predicting strong leisure market numbers for the upcoming Christmas holiday period.
