ET Promotes Keppel Bay
Posted on November 25th, 2015
Andrew ‘ET’ Ettingshausen again visited one of his favourite fishing destinations, Keppel Bay on the Southern Great Barrier Reef, last weekend and joined by his local fishing buddy, Capricorn Enterprise Chairman Graham Scott.
Proudly hosted by the Keppel Bay Marina, ET was the special guest at a community day on Sunday and ‘interviewed’ by Graham on all things Footy and Fishing. The audience was captivated hearing about an incredible career and one particular life and death situation in an underwater adventure a few years ago.
ET’s ‘Escape with ET’ fishing show continues to go from strength to strength and he is one of our destinations biggest advocates. He is truly grateful for the hospitality shown to him by the team at Keppel Bay Marina every time he visits.
It seems his prowess for fishing equals his success in footy, having played 328 first grade games for the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in NSW as well as representing Australia with the Kangaroos.
Retiring from league in 2000, his passion for fishing is most certainly welcomed in our destination – tune in to his new 2016 series where you will recognise some great local fishing locations!
