About DestinationQ Regional Workshop Program:
In October 2015, on behalf of the Queensland Government, the Department of Tourism, Major Events, Small Business and the Commonwealth Games (DTESB) facilitated an industry focussed forum – DestinationQ2015 – where Government joined with industry to discuss the challenge of converting aspiration to visitation. The forum drew on consumer insights and experienced speakers to challenge delegates to deliver on our promise to visitors.
Masterclasses were held on the following topics: innovative experiences, exceeding expectations, digital channels, Asia market, and tourism and transport.
The Queensland Government is committed to taking learnings from the forum to the broader industry by delivering the Regional Workshop Program, highlighting the discussions around social media, innovative experiences and exceeding expectations and digital channels.
