Official Visitor Map for Great Keppel Island Released!

Bushwalking, Snorkelling, Fishing, Anchorage, Accommodation…You name the activity, this map has you covered. Capricorn Enterprise is please to launch the first OFFICIAL visitor’s map for Great Keppel Island. This map is so much more than just a map, it’s a visitor’s guide to the island, with detailed information on the island’s stunning bushwalking trails, accommodation and dining options.
Capricorn Enterprise’s Tourism & Marketing Manager, Deanne Bowd said, “We are so pleased to be able to release this map for Great Keppel Island. This project has been a long time in the making and is a big step forward in being able to clearly market all of the assets the island has to offer”.
The need to produce a new island map was identified as a priority in a joint meeting with a number of Great Keppel Island businesses during Capricorn Enterprise’s ‘Experience Development Program’ in 2015. The map includes all Great Keppel Island businesses and will become a very useful selling tool for the island.
Great Keppel Island Hideaway’s Marketing Manager, Eloise Chaffers said, “A quirky tear-off Great Keppel Island map is perfect for our independent travellers doing the East Coast drive. We’re excited to also have them available on board Keppel Konnections so skippers can engage guests on their inbound journey and send them home with a little Keppel memento”.
The map is available to download online or visitors can collect a copy from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre.
