Global goddess visits twice in a month

Last month we were also thrilled to host Christine Retschlag, world renowned travel writer based in Brisbane. Editor and journalist, “The Global Goddess”, has spent 29 years working on newspapers and magazines in Australia, Hong Kong, London and Singapore. Christine is a multi award winning writer, winning the 2017 Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) Gold Award for Travel Journalism and was also a finalist for Best Travel Writer in the Australian Federation of Travel Agents the same year. In 2018 she was named as a Finalist for Best Travel Writer in the Australian Federation of Travel Agents National Travel Industry Awards.
Capricorn Enterprise, in partnership with our SGBR partner RTOs in Gladstone/1770 and Bundaberg regions, commissioned Christine to produce content creation for which we eagerly await, after her current overseas trip in Dubai experiencing gold facials of all things (very apt for our Global Goddess!)
Back in sunny Queensland, Christine is so impressed with our Capricorn Coast and Southern Great Barrier Reef destination, she pitched another few stories to one of her editors and is returning next week for another visit!
We had so much to show Christine in her first visit and she was absolutely impressed with our product development in the ten years since she was last here!

Hosting visitors, introducing them to our wonderful passionate operators, and seeing those visitors become advocates for our destination, is truly the most rewarding part of my job at Capricorn Enterprise!
