Delicious gourmet delights, seriously good coffee and quality locally made spirits, are just part of the Capricorn region’s array of options that will get your taste buds watering. Right on the ocean’s doorstep, our fantastic part of the Southern Great Barrier Reef is a bounty for fresh local produce from both the land and sea.
The 18/19 marketing strategy is a shift towards a strong focus on digital using story telling via a content theme for each month. The content theme for September is our local food and drink.
The variety of culinary and drinking delights on offer in our region showcases our diversity and expresses the authentic personality of our local operators. Visitors to our region have the opportunity to enjoy such delights as locally grown produce in a funky laneway eatery, sipping through a tour at a distillery and feasting on a steak from the beef capital of Australia.
