KBSC’s 2020 Camps and Champs welcomes a record number of youth sailors

The Keppel Bay Sailing Club recently hosted their annual training camp and regatta, welcoming a record number of 157 boats.
Held across seven days, from 21-26th September, the 2020 Queensland Youth Camps and Champs was open to all Australian sailing junior and youth classes and provided an opportunity for budding sailors to improve their skills with some of the best coaches in Australia.
From tackers to professionals, from social sailors to competitors, Keppel Bay Sailing Club is committed to supporting the local community and promoting all local healthy active outdoor recreation with a passion for youth engagement.
Operating from five venues, and boasting 14,000 members, the Keppel Bay Sailing Club is a not for profit organization employing over 120 staff from the local area.
Congratulations to all of the instructors, coaches, volunteers, staff members and community members who made the 2020 Camps and Champs event a success.
