Are you new to the region and ready to share how great it is here?

The Regional Activators Alliance (RAA) was launched on Wednesday 28th October by Deputy Prime Minister, The Hon. Michael McCormack in a bid to show the rest of the country the opportunities available to live, work and invest in Regional Australia.
Brought together by the Regional Australia Institute (RAI), the national movement places regional stakeholders at the forefront of the powerful campaign to proactively change the narrative relating to regional growth, with aspects of the project focussing on evidence-based research relating to the four key pillars of jobs, population, liveability and leadership.
As the world continues to shift and the complexity for businesses, communities, governments and leaders alike becomes prominent, the economic and social impacts continue to be divergent across the nation, offering both opportunities and challenges.
Capricorn Enterprise has joined the Regional Activators Alliance to drive support for regional population growth and is seeking local community engagement through direct ‘case study’ involvement.
“Capricorn Enterprise remains committed to the future development of our region and the creation of the new ‘Regionalisation of our Nation’ campaign aligns with our passion to promote the diverse offerings available across our entire region,” Capricorn Enterprise CEO, Mary Carroll said.
“We encourage our local businesses and friends to assist the Alliance in nominating someone who has made the move to our region from a capital city, so that they can share their story and experiences and inform other potential metropolitan relocators to drop their anchor here.”
The one page #madethemove regional activator will then be collated by RAI and, once relevant permissions are acquired, be used for marketing and media purposes relating to the campaign.
“Capricorn Enterprise is incredibly honoured to be sitting at the table for this significant impact project that will promote regional Australia as a great place to live, work and raise a family,” Mary said.
“We need people to fill jobs, grow businesses, and invest in our communities and we look forward to proactively contributing to Regional Activators Alliance.”
