A new online website and app will make it easier and faster for small businesses to prevent, prepare, respond, recover and communicate when disaster strikes helping them to get back on their feet sooner.
The online small business disaster hub provides information tailored to Queensland small businesses and specific sectors to manage a range of disasters from workplace emergencies to natural disasters and cyber-attacks.
The disaster hub makes it easier for small businesses during a highly stressful time by providing targeted resources for all small businesses as well as primary producers, tourism and hospitality operators, retailers, transport and logistics and construction businesses.
The disaster hub, jointly funded by the Commonwealth and Queensland Governments under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA), includes top 10 ‘to do’ tips, checklists, communication messaging for nine different types of disasters, ‘how-to’ videos, case studies, insurance claim tips and links to financial assistance.
