Supershow success for our destination!

Hitting the road and getting outdoors remains high on traveler’s agenda’s following a hugely successful weekend at the 2021 Let’s Go QLD Caravan and Camping Supershow (2nd – 7th June).
Cath Stubenrauch and Sharon Scott from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre represented our region and spoke to thousands of interested holiday makers who had our destination on their bucket list.
Saturday and Sunday saw the busiest days for the show with more than 500 people making the time to discover more about where our exciting roads lead from the Keppel Islands to the Central Highlands.
“The show was the perfect opportunity to encourage visitors to get off the highways and explore the stops along the way,” Cath said.
“We answered many questions from interested travellers – some who had previously visited the area and wanted to return, and some that were keen to put somewhere new on their adventure list.”
Total attendance over the 6 days was 40,116, with the only day significantly down on 2019 numbers being the Thursday, which experienced some wet weather.
