Capricorn Enterprise calls on community and sporting groups to join local directory
Posted on July 20th, 2021
From relocation information to business and investment opportunities, Capricorn Enterprise continues to make moving to our region less challenging and confronting for sea and tree changers.
We know that moving to a new town comes with large amounts of research, questions and knowledge and our team has been working to make it easier to navigate through the multitude of facilities, services, and experiences available across the destination.
In February, Capricorn Enterprise launched a new Community and Sporting Directory webpage which was designed as a one stop shop to discover local community-based organisations and sporting clubs offering a range of activities and information to suit your family needs. The page has already welcomed more than 500 unique visitors, spending an average of 3.5 minutes on the page.
From swim schools, footy clubs to museums and not-for-profit groups, Capricorn Enterprise’s webpage offers a categorized alphabetical listing of over 300 entries, making it easy to find exactly what you are looking for, all in one place.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO, Mary Carroll believes that having the right information accessible and available will support relocation stresses and enhance the liveability of our region even further.
“With a projected increase in population by 40,000 residents over the next 20 years, the Capricorn Coast and Rockhampton Region is rapidly growing as a destination of choice for those choosing to escape the hustle and bustle of busy metropolitan life,” Mary said.
“Combining a growing range of employment, health and cultural facilities, together with real lifestyle opportunities, affordable housing and strong community and social networks in one of the best tropical climates in Australia, there is no wonder more and more people are throwing anchor in Central Queensland.”
With listings spanning across a large variety of community and sporting sectors, the directory is continually being updated to ensure a complete resource at the touch of your fingers.
Capricorn Enterprise is calling on community and sporting organisations to visit the site and ensure that their club or group is listed, and if not, to get in touch with details and information for inclusion.
The community and sporting directory complements Capricorn Enterprise’s newly launched liveability website – www.livecapricorncoast.com.au which has been designed to meet the needs of those relocating, along with keeping current residents and businesses connected to greater possibilities.
