Central Queensland Olympic and Paralympic Games Taskforce – Call for Expressions of Interest

At the initial meeting of the Central Queensland Olympic and Paralympics Games Taskforce, consistent themes and expectations of stakeholders of the Taskforce included a proper governance structure, clear and achievable goals, a non-political agenda, with an achievable timeline.
Feedback received has been compiled with some consistent themes, which you can download here.
Based on feedback, the Taskforce are proposing to form four subcommittees including:
• Management Committee
• Sports Committee (clubs and organisations who represent Olympic and Paralympic sports)
• Facilities Committee (buildings, infrastructure, development etc.)
• Services Committee (food, transport, accommodation etc.)

Next Steps
Once the subcommittees are formed, the process of drafting formal terms of reference and drafting specific goals, objectives and timelines will occur.
