Hemsworth hangs loose with his boys at Surf Lakes Yeppoon

While Rockhampton’s successful pop culture convention, Capricon, was luring large crowds over the weekend, Marvel Comic’s real life Thor scheduled a weekend off to enjoy some family time at Surf Lakes Yeppoon.
Escaping the hustle and bustle of being a sought-after Hollywood superstar, and simply relishing in being a Dad, there were smiles all round for Chris Hemsworth and his sprightly groms as they carved up the biggest breaks in surf park innovation, enjoying the chilled vibes and hearing first-hand from founder Aaron Trevis and his team on the humble beginnings and exciting future of this incredible wave pool technology.
Having discovered Surf Lakes previously, Chris happily returned, hanging up his hero cape and turning his attention to the unmistakeable plunger generating 5 wave levels from beginner to pro.
From Hollywood royalty, television stars, and some of Australia’s most distinguished and unreal surfers, our destination is so fortunate to have this incredible drawcard enticing many to experience pure ‘stoke’.
