Capricorn Coast sets the scene for Ch7’s Creek to Coast

Presenter Chris Parsons, and the crew from Creek to Coast visited the Capricorn Coast recently, gathering footage for two stories that will hit our screens over the coming months.
The first story, going to air on Saturday 8th October, was a collaborative venture between Sunseeker Caravans and Surf Lakes Yeppoon.
Aaron and the Surf Lakes team fired up the R&D facility for the day, welcoming investors, and the pro surf fraternity, along with the most recent ‘Chris’ to visit our destination (Chris Brown, Chris Hemsworth, and now Chris Parsons).
The second story, airing on Saturday 19th November took Chris and the Creek to Coast crew out onto the beautiful waters of Keppel Bay, aboard many of the boating options available.
The scene was well and truly set with a relaxing sunset cruise aboard Funtastic Cruises, before kicking off the following day with an adrenaline-packed trip around Keppel Bay with Keppel Explorer.
The crew then soaked up some Great Keppel Island magic with Keppel Konnections and Freedom Fast Cats before saying ‘Ahoy’ to the skipper and team from Keppeluna, but not before indulging over lunch at the multi award-winning The Waterline Restaurant at Keppel Bay Marina.
During their time filming at the Marina, the crew also captured footage of Pumpkin Xpress, which was berthed awaiting its next trip to glorious Pumpkin Island.
Fortunately, after a day’s rain, the clouds parted for the Creek to Coast crew, who managed to luck spectacular weather to showcase our incredible local operators.
