Capricorn Coast volunteers kick off 2023 with a trip to Hedlow Retreat

The weather didn’t dampen the spirits of our Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre volunteers last Friday, as they took some time to visit and explore the newly rebranded Hedlow Retreat.
The first of many familiarisations (famils) scheduled for 2023, the volunteers enjoyed revisiting and reconnecting with the new owners of the family-owned property perched proudly on the banks of Hedlow Creek.
Offering secluded accommodation and a function venue, it was a great opportunity for the team to learn about different aspects of the property and what guests can expect and enjoy.
Famils assist in ensuring that volunteers from the Capricorn Coast Visitor Information Centre are best equipped with information and advice to support holiday makers wanting to find out more about what is on offer across the destination.
