Rubyvale’s time to sparkle!

The 2023 Queensland Top Tourism Town Awards are on again, and this year, our hidden ‘gem’ in the Central Queensland Highlands – Rubyvale, is vying for the Tiny Town gold.
Rubbing shoulders with some of Queensland’s other tourism hotspots including Richmond, Winton, Quilpie, Hughenden, Julia Creek, Linville, and Toogoolawah, the Rubyvale submission proudly showcases the largest sapphire-bearing area in the southern hemisphere.
After making the shortlist for Top Tiny Tourism Town following an extensive judging process, it is now over to the public to have their say and help decide the winners by voting for their best-loved Queensland town.
And vote for Rockhampton in the Top Tourism Town category.
Each vote will go in the draw to win a three-night stay at the 5-Star RACV Noosa Resort.
