New Capricorn Coast Distillery gives back to the region’s greatest natural wonder

With a strong commitment to supporting the preservation of our region’s miraculous Great Barrier Reef, newly launched Reef Distillers on the Capricorn Coast have become proud members of 1% for the Planet.
1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions through annual memberships and everyday actions.
Members contribute one percent of their annual revenue to environmental causes, creating an impactful solution that directly gives back to our planet.
1% for the Planet is a globally recognised certification and to date, has contributed more than $150 million to environmental nonprofits.
Reef Distillers founder Laureth Rumble is pleased to announce this partnership, which reflects the vision and mission of their ‘paddock to still’ micro distillery.

1% for the Planet members are small locally owned shops, breweries, agencies, startups and just about everything in between. While members span a wide range of industries, they all have one very important thing in common: leading the way through environmental giving.
Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll is thrilled to witness this new partnership between Reef Distillers and 1% for the Planet, which will support reef conservation organisations based in Australia.

Reef Distillers launched in September 2023, incorporating local suppliers, farmers, and native flora to create a stylish product that has fast become the flavour on everyone’s lips.
