Trade Travel Expo – 2024 Sydney

Last week, the Capricorn Coast was represented by Eloise Chaffers, in Sydney at the annual Trade Travel Expo, to encourage tour groups to our destination.

With 139 attendees, representing 66 Probus Clubs (professional business) in total, the day comprised of 25 face to face “speed date” style, 13-minute appointments. During this time, Eloise had a presentation showcasing the current Trade Travel Capricorn Coast itinerary, which includes 5 nights’ accommodation with Rosslyn Bay Resort, and experiences such as a Koorana Crocodile Farm tour, a guided Capricorn Caves tour, lunch with Ferns Hideaway Resort, Byfield, a visit to Nob Creek Pottery and entertaining last night’s supper with Footlights Theatre Restaurant, as well as some of our iconic sites, such as visiting the ANZAC memorial Emu Park, Yeppoon Lagoon and Shell World.

The tour is fully hosted and includes a Trade Travel guide, coach travel in region and flights from the major cities of Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne. The itineraries were very well received, with feedback on the day being that the destination was a “surprise” and attendees loved how much diversity was packed in. Trade Travel shared that there were two highlight presentations on the day, one being the Capricorn Coast and the second, the Longreach & Winton presentation.
