Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund Round 4

Round 4 applications are now open for the Defence and Aerospace Industry Development Fund, a fund designed to help eligible Small-Medium Enterprise’s (SMEs) acquire certification enabling them to participate in both new and existing supply chain opportunities, fostering their growth and prosperity and industry expansion.
Financial assistance from $5,000 (excluding GST) to a maximum of $30,000 (excluding GST) in matched funding (up to 50 per cent funding) will be awarded to approved applicants. Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander businesses may apply for up to 75 per cent funding.
Eligible applicants for the fund are:
- Existing suppliers to the defence, aerospace and space supply chain; and
- Eligible SMEs with AUKUS Pillar II capabilities (undersea capabilities, quantum technologies, artificial intelligence and autonomy, advanced cyber, hypersonic and counter-hypersonic capabilities and electronic warfare)
Applications will close at midnight on Monday, 10 June 2024.
