Sunset Sessions returns to Great Keppel Island with stellar lineup!

Sunset Sessions presented by Capricorn Events and Great Keppel Island Hideaway, supported by Livingstone Shire Council is an iconic music festival set against the breathtaking backdrop of Great Keppel Island. This year’s event promises to be a spectacular experience for music enthusiasts, featuring headline acts Aussie Hip-hop Royalty Bliss n Eso, and Coastal Rock band Beddy Rays, plus local legends MATH and The Stone Apes.
As the sun dips below the horizon, Great Keppel Island will once again transform into a music lover’s paradise. Sunset Sessions has become synonymous with unparalleled live performances, and this year is no exception. Attendees can expect a day filled with unforgettable moments, surrounded by the beauty of the island.
Festival Organiser Callan Buchholz is looking forward to bringing this event back to the region, with the support of the Livingstone Shire Council.

Festival Organiser/Great Keppel Island Hideaway Manager Kelly sees events like this as a stepping stone to continue the development of the island.

Recreation and Culture Standing Committee Co-Chair Councillor Lance Warcon said events like Sunset Sessions are invaluable to the region.

“From accommodation providers to local eateries and retailers, the influx of festival-goers will benefit a wide range of businesses. Beyond the economic uplift, it’s also a fantastic opportunity for our residents to enjoy top-tier entertainment in their backyard and for visitors to experience the warm hospitality and unique charm of Livingstone Shire.

Recreation and Culture Standing Committee Co-Chair Councillor Andrea Friend said the return of Sunset Sessions exemplifies how we can celebrate and showcase the beauty of Great Keppel Island (Woppa).

Bliss n Eso: Renowned for their high-energy performances and chart-topping hits, Bliss n Eso will undoubtedly set the stage ablaze with their signature style. Fans can anticipate a dynamic show that blends hip-hop beats with infectious energy.
Beddy Rays: With their unique sound and indie-rock charm, Beddy Rays promises to captivate the audience. Known for their anthemic tunes and charismatic stage presence, this rising band is set to leave an indelible mark on Sunset Sessions.
