Year of Accessible Tourism – Grants to local tourism operators

The Year of Accessible Tourism (YOAT) highlights the importance of accessible tourism for all, igniting change and creating opportunities for Queensland tourism.
The Department of Tourism and Sport administered $12 million in funding programs, with 13 businesses and Organisations receiving funding in the Capricorn Coast region.

With one in five Australians living with a visible or non-visible disability, the state government will continue to promote the importance of accessible tourism and support the industry in achieving best practices in accessibility and inclusivity.
