These awards celebrate excellence and innovation, recognizing the remarkable contributions of local businesses that have achieved exceptional success over the past year.

Proudly hosted by Capricorn Enterprise and the Capricornia Chamber of Commerce, the 2024 Best in Business Awards, now in their fourth year, promise to be the most impressive yet, showcasing the resilience and creativity of businesses that support and enhance the region’s economy.

A new category for 2024, Best Young Business Leader, recognizes outstanding young leaders under 35 who are making significant impacts in business and society.

Capricorn Enterprise CEO Mary Carroll is thrilled to launch this year’s Awards and extends gratitude to the many sponsors who make the program and Gala event possible.

Nominations will remain open until September 15, 2024. Businesses are encouraged to submit their nominations through the official awards website. Nominating businesses must be registered within the Local Government Areas of Rockhampton Regional Council or Livingstone Shire Council.

The awards process is an apolitical, business-focused event, independently judged by a panel of four industry experts, ensuring a fair and transparent process.

Winners will be announced at the gala awards ceremony on Saturday, November 2nd at the new conference centre at Keppel Bay Sailing Club Yeppoon.

The formal Awards night, hosted by popular media personality, Kimberley Busteed, will feature a fine meal and beverage package, with pre-dinner and after-party entertainment from local singer/songwriter Brad Butcher and the highly entertaining trio, 33 Red from the Gold Coast.
