Capricorn Caves and Capricorn Dinosaur Park Yeppoon feature on Channel 9’s Getaway

Last Saturday, 5th October, Channel 9’s Getaway aired an exciting segment based on the Dig the Tropic journey, presented by David Whitehill.
The episode, commissioned by Capricorn Enterprise, spotlighted two iconic Capricorn Coast attractions: the breathtaking Capricorn Caves and the fascinating Capricorn Dinosaur Park in Yeppoon.
Thanks to a successful contestable grant from Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) and a funding partnership with Central Highlands Development Corporation (CHDC) and Outback Qld Tourism Association (OQTA), the Dig the Tropic re-imagined project aims to leverage specific campaign funds to re-promote the Dig the Tropic geo-tourism trail.
David’s journey through these unique destinations showcased the region’s rich geological history and prehistoric wonders, inspiring viewers to explore the hidden gems of the Tropic of Capricorn firsthand.
