Eloise Chaffers Achieves Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC) Certification, Elevating Sustainable Tourism on the Capricorn Coast

Capricorn Enterprise contractor, Eloise Chaffers (Taylor Made Marketing) and passionate Ecotourism advocate, has successfully completed the Sustainable Tourism Training certification with the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC), a leading organisation that sets global standards for sustainability in tourism. This certification equips her with a thorough understanding of sustainable practices, focusing on reducing environmental impact, supporting local communities, and promoting economic viability. Through this training, Eloise has gained the skills to implement responsible tourism strategies that benefit both people and the planet, positioning her as a leader in promoting eco-friendly and socially responsible travel experiences.
The Capricorn Coast achieved Eco Destination Certification at the Ecotourism level in June this year, a remarkable milestone, thanks to the fantastic efforts of Livingstone Shire Council and ongoing partnership with Capricorn Enterprise, Community Groups and Eco Certified tourism operators.
