Summer Solstice spectacle to light up Capricorn Caves

The festive season is nearly here and December is a time of year the team at Capricorn Caves get excited, because holiday season means Summer Solstice is right around the corner.
Situated proudly within a destination that lies on the Tropic of Capricorn, the southernmost latitude of the Sun’s journey, and Events Coordinator Mindy Bambrick is excited to be sharing the magic of Solstice with everyone.
At Capricorn Caves the midday sun finds a natural opening in the ceiling of one of the Caves producing a powerful and concentrated beam of sunlight. The extraordinary occurrence attracts visitors, all drawn to witness this enchanting play of light.

As the sunlight penetrates the cave below the surface guests will be treated to a dazzling light show, thrilled by the enchanting play of light that occurs naturally only at Capricorn Caves.
