The three (3) Regional Toursim Organisations (RTOs) of the Southern Great Barrier Reef (SGBR) recently hosted an engaging sales training webinar in collaboration with Travelbag, one of the UK’s leading travel experts. The session, designed to inspire and equip travel agents with in-depth knowledge of our diverse and unique destination, was attended by 31 enthusiastic Travelbag agents.
During the webinar, participants explored the region’s unique attractions, world-class experiences, and insider tips on crafting unforgettable itineraries for their clients. The interactive format allowed agents to ask questions and gain valuable insights, strengthening their ability to sell the Southern Great Barrier Reef with confidence.
We’re to be participating in an upcoming campaign with Travelbag, supported by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ) to further showcase the Southern Great Barrier Reef to their wide-reaching audience. This will be the second year that the SGBR has been represented in the UK, after a partnership with Audley Travel last year.
The sales training aligned perfectly off the back of Eloise’s recent meeting with Susan Horton, from Travelbag in the UK whilst attending Tourism Australia’s Marketplace UK & Europe.
