Capricorn Coast Region, SGBR on Show at Key New Zealand Trade Events

The Capricorn Coast, Southern Great Barrier Reef destination was strongly represented this week at two major New Zealand trade events from 14th to 21st March, connecting with key travel sellers to drive visitation to the region.
Led by Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), Queensland is Calling New Zealand is a partnership with the state’s Regional Tourism Organisations (RTOs) and export ready operators to promote our destinations and regions to our kiwi friends. The TEQ Distribution Development Weekend in Queenstown offered one-on-one meetings with key Product Managers, while the Queensland is Calling roadshow travelled to Auckland, Christchurch, and Wellington, featuring retail agent sales training, product manager workshops, and networking events. Representing the region was Capricorn Enterprise’s Eloise Chaffers and Katrina Gunders, of Dreamtime Resorts (Stay Yeppoon properties), who showcased Yeppoon’s premier beachfront accommodations—Salt, Echelon, and Beaches on Lammermoor—to inspire Kiwi travellers to book their next coastal escape.
