German Travel Writers Immerse Themselves in the Southern Great Barrier Reef

Acclaimed German travel writers Christian Haas and Matthias Stolla recently embarked on an immersive journey through the Southern Great Barrier Reef, exploring the Bundaberg, Gladstone, and Capricorn Coast regions as part of a famil supported by Tourism & Events Queensland. Along the way, they enjoyed a day on the reef with Lady Musgrave Experience and a unique coastal adventure with 1770 LARC! Tours before heading to the Capricorn Coast.

Their Capricorn Coast experience began with a scenic sunset ferry ride to Great Keppel Island with Keppel Konnections, where they enjoyed an overnight stay at Great Keppel Island Hideaway. The next morning, they joined Freedom Fast Cats for an Adventure Cruise to discover the breathtaking Keppel Islands and surrounding reef. Back on the mainland, the writers explored High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm on a guided tour, followed by a hosted dinner with Capricorn Enterprise at The Station 4703. They wrapped up their visit with a guided tour of the iconic Capricorn Caves, leaving with a deeper appreciation of the region’s natural beauty and diversity.
