Travelhome (Netherlands) Agents Discover the Capricorn Coast

As part of an emerging partnership with Dutch wholesaler Travelhome, we were excited to welcome sales agent, Rick Dierckx and his partner, who recently explored the Capricorn Coast during a broader Queensland famil.
Having met with Eloise at Tourism Australia’s Marketplace UK & Europe in London last November, and participating in a sales training webinar, hosted by the three regions of Bundaberg, Gladstone and Capricorn Coast, Rick’s timely visit to Queensland ensured he got to experience some of our region’s beautiful diversity firsthand.
Highlights of their Capricorn Coast itinerary included an Adventure Tour at the Capricorn Caves, time to explore Yeppoon’s boutique shopping and iconic Yeppoon Lagoon, and an overnight stay at Tasman Holiday Park in Emu Park. The couple also enjoyed a Great Keppel Island Day trip with Funtastic Cruises and a guided tour at High Valley Dawn Permaculture Farm, inspecting their campervan and RV facilities. A hosted breakfast with Eloise in Emu Park capped off their stay, leaving the group inspired to share the region’s diverse experiences with Dutch travellers.
