Priority Initiatives

Capricorn Enterprise has identified 8 Priority Initiatives that we believe are achievable through collaborative engagement with key stakeholders.

These projects include key infrastructure works, strategic agriculture development that is achievable through the provision of new water storages, support for convention centre facilities, assisting in the growth of regional health services, elevating the status of the Rockhampton Airport, implementation of the Destination Tourism Plan and focussing on the digital economy across our region, whilst being the eastern gateway to Northern Australia and a key partner in the Northern Australia Alliance.

In addition to its key Priority Initiatives, Capricorn Enterprise continues to support on-going projects such as major regional events and new major resort developments.
