Launch of the 2017 Destination Guide Prospectus

The 2017 will bring an exciting new era as we launch the new Southern Great Barrier Reef Destination Guide, combining the Capricorn, Gladstone and Bundaberg regions into one stunning A4 brochure.
Why the move to a combined destination guide?
Since 2011 Regional Tourism Organisations Capricorn Enterprise, Gladstone Area Promotions & Development Ltd (GAPDL) and Bundaberg North Burnett Tourism (BNBT) have been working in partnership on a common goal to promote our amazing regions under the destination brand of “Southern Great Barrier Reef” (SGBR). This branded approach has proven very successful in gaining reach and cut through to influence visitors deciding on where to holiday. From the Keppel Islands and Capricorn Coast, through Rockhampton and Mt Morgan, and on to the Sandstone Wilderness including Sapphire Gemfields, the Capricorn Region now continues to leverage the momentum of the Southern Great Barrier Reef brand through this combined destination guide.
This single A4 brochure will combine the individual precincts that Southern Great Barrier Reef encompasses, showcasing sweeping imagery and allowing a focus on the region’s Hero Experiences of Southern Great Barrier Reef, Carnarvon Gorge and Natural Wonders, Caves and Fossicking, and Regional Specialties and Culinary Delights.
