Launch of new leisure website to boost visitors!

An average of 9,720 monthly unique visitors to the destination’s leisure website is about to grow thanks to the launch this week of the new look by Capricorn Enterprise.

From the Southern Great Barrier Reef to the Sandstone Wilderness, from the Central Highlands to the Keppel Islands, each precinct within the Capricorn Region is showcased individually.  

Capricorn Enterprise chief executive Mary Carroll said “our new leisure website has been three (3) months in the making and we are absolutely thrilled with the results.

“Customer usability has been greatly enhanced and our operators are more visible thanks to a clean and attractive new style.

“Visitors are tempted to Explore the Capricorn Coast and Keppel Islands, Sandstone Wilderness, Central Highlands, Rockhampton Region and the Sapphire Gemfields.

We have completely rebuilt our leisure website four (4) times in eight (8) years to ensure the most up to date technology, functionality, information and images portray our destination in the best possible way, converting to increased visitation to our amazing destination.

“Investment in our digital channels is something that is non-negotiable.  As a not-for-profit official regional tourism and economic development Organisation which consistently punches above our weight with limited finances and resources, going for second best is not an option when it comes to our websites and social media marketing.”

The leisure website boasts stunning imagery, the current Summer Campaign Deals, Accommodation, Activities and Adventure, Arts and Culture, Family Fun, Food and Drinks, Natural Attractions and Events.
